  • So good— what a meal! I’m fairly unfamiliar with Korean food but the lovely woman running the place let me show her some photos from other reviewers on my phone. Flavorful, filling and homemade, this is a must-try. I’m not sure what all the cold appetizers were that came when we ordered the fried pork dumplings (which were SO GOOD) but there was defitnely kimchi, pickled radish, onion, pickled cucumber, and potatoes that I’m still dreaming about. We ordered pork bulgogi which was a skillet of hot and flavorful beef with sautéed onions and peppers. We also got the chajangmyun which is the dish that looks like spaghetti in dark sauce. It has delicately cooked ribs and diced veggies. Both were truly delicious. I can’t wait to try more Korean food!

  • My brother & his fiance found this place and introduced it to me, and it has become my favorite spot when I’m craving Korean food. This restaurant is located in New Jersey. The restaurant has a classic and homey look. Our server was friendly, and all the food didn’t take long to come out. As K-drama fans, I have been wanting to try Cold Noodle, so when I saw they have it here, I definitely had to try it, and I love it. Their Gan Chajangmyun is also something you have to try if you visit this place. I’ve tried Chajangmyun in many places, and the Chajangmyun here is my favorite. Definitely, I will come back

  • Nice mom and pop shop. Food was delicious . My short ribs were a bit on the sour side instead of savory. Probably won’t order again but everything else was amazing . Staff didn’t really check in , service was bare minimum. I will most likely return though to support small business.

  • The definition of homely. The restaurant can hold up to 20 people and gives an urban feel. The food was undeniably on point, the dumplings were unique and delicious and the gan jajiangmyun was more than fulfilling on a rainy day. Surely will find time to try other items on the menu

  • Food's really good. Very flavorful. Probably one of the better seafood pancakes around, filled with stuff. Bonchan was nice, stewed potatoes were sweet and the fermented kimchi and pickles were strong. Kimchi jjigae is what you'd expect. Beef bulgolgi is also what you'd expect. Lot of meat. They gave us a bit of jjang sauce that'd normally go with noodles. Was really good.

  • K-drama fans, this feels like it could be your secret spot. The kind of restaurant that not many people have been to, but one that you'd recommend to your friend to impress them with a "hole-in-the-wall" local experience. The food is delicious and comes in good amounts and all at a fair price. Taking a look around at the other patrons, it certainly feels authentic. I've gone there a few times and have hardly heard a word of English from the staff or the customers. Love it! If you're looking for a more authentic slice of Korea here in South Jersey, this is the place to go to. Are there other Korean restaurants? Certainly! There seem to be more and more every day. But for me, this is the one that makes me feel like I'm back in a small shop in Korea.
